This was a school exercise on my first year. We were supposed to design paper bag templates for computer business, eco-laundry and cupcake cafe. All of these customers had the same company name Scroll (logo) and the company image cat. Our job was to create three different bags for different needs.

This was one of my first school works. We were supposed to do a painting of a map for a meaningful place (size A3). Mine was New York City (surprisingly). The main thing was to learn to paint with Talens gouache and to think outside the box - what is a map? What all it could actually be? The photo isn't too good, but my map shows some special places on top of the subway map. There is Little Italy and Soho. Little icons shows that you can find raccoon family from Central Park and total potheads from Avenue 1. I do love New York!

This is an unicorn print designed for textiles. I designed this in a lifestyle workshop at school. My themes were mythology and pop art. It was great to learn how to do screen-printing. So this is hand-printed with screen-printing technique. And I also love the unicorn!

first assignment

Posters & patches for SAMO - Student Union of Seinäjoki University of applied sciences. I worked as a graphic designer for SAMO for one year. I made all the event posters and student jumpsuit patches for them. Here's some of them! Yep, some of them are kinda... not so cool, but sometimes you just need to do as you are told :)
